JOB SUMMARY:

To maintain Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles for customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Change engine oil and filters on all models of Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles.
  2. Repair leaking tires.
  3. Replace lights and windshield wipers.
  4. Complete multi-point inspections.
  5. Wash and vacuum vehicles.
  6. Clean and maintain shop.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

· Hold a valid driver's license with less than 4 points.

· Submit to a drug screening and background check.

· Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.

· Willingness to accept night and weekend hours.

· Monday-Thursday 11 am- 8 pm, Friday 9 am-6 pm, every other Saturday 8 am- 4 pm

· Physically able to lift 85lbs.

· Starting rate $10.50/hr.

 

ENVIROMENTAL CONDITIONS:

  1. Exposure to moving parts.
  2. Exposure to grease, chemicals, dust, dirt, and the heat and cold of the outdoors.

SERVICE PORTER

Position Overview 

The position of a Roush Ford Service Porter is to go above and beyond for our customers coming in for service.   Take direction from Service Advisors in relation to customer's vehicle. 


Who Would I Interact With? 
This position interacts daily with Customers, Service Advisor, Parts Associates, Service Manager, Sales Associates and Managers, just to name a few. 

What are some of the day-to-day responsibilities? 

·         Dress service customer cars with disposable floor mats & plastic seat lining.

·         Drive service customer cars through the car wash.

·         Retrieve customers' car when ready for pick up.

·         Park customers' car when dropped off for service.

·         Check tire pressure and fill with air if needed.

·         Change wiper blades as needed for customers.

·         Top off washer fluid as needed.

·          Be available to work Monday - Saturday.

·         Sweep, mop and clean the service area as needed.

PART-TIME RECEPTIONIST

Essential Functions:

  • Answers the main telephone system to direct calls appropriately, screen, provide information and take messages.

Parts Counter Position Overview 
The position of a Roush Ford Parts Counter Person is to go above and beyond for our customers coming in to purchase genuine Ford Parts at the retail counter, service customer vehicles that require parts, our service technicians and advisors as well as our new and used vehicle sales departments. 
Position Requirements 
• Automotive Parts Experience required; Ford Experience is preferred. 
• Ability to use parts department computer system. 
• Knowledge of Inventory control processes. 
• Good Communication skills. 
• High School Diploma or Equivalent. 
• Must have a valid driver's license. 
• Must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S. 

What are some of the day-to-day responsibilities? 
• Be friendly, professional and efficient when working with all customers, both on the phone and in person. 
• Be available to work five days a week including Saturday; varying hours. 
• Maintain the parts department in a clean and organized manner. 
• Promptly meet and assist both retail guests, technicians and other internal customers. 
• Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and transfer the information to the proper document and computer system. 
• Must be skilled at listening, problem solving and communication. 
• Energetic, enthusiastic and team oriented. 
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information. 
• Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location.
